Steak Stir Fry
Ingredients (serves 4)
• 3 tsp cornflour, 4 tsp soy sauce
• 200ml beef stock, 100g tender-stem broccoli
• 1 tbsp ginger-minced, 1 garlic clove-minced
• 1 red & 1 green pepper-sliced, 400g sirloin steak-cut into strips
• 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds, 2 tsp sesame oil
• 100g white or brown rice/quinoa
Instructions
1. Combine cornflour, soy, stock, ginger & garlic in a bowl and mix.
2. Marinade steak in the bowl for about an hour.
3. Cook rice as directed on packet.
4. Stir-fry steak and sesame seeds in a large frying pan that are coated with sesame oil.
5. Remove steak, stir-fry broccoli and peppers in remaining oil for 4-6 minutes.
6. Add mixture to the pan and bring to the boil.
7. Add steak back into the pan and heat through.
8. Serve and enjoy!
