Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients (serves 4)

• 400g lean minced beef

• White or wholemeal pasta or spaghetti

• 1 onion, chopped

• 2 cans chopped tomato

• Chopped garlic (optional)

• 1 tbsp tomato puree

• 1 stock cube

• 1/2 tsp mixed herbs

Instructions

1. Brown minced beef, onion and garlic in a large frying pan for 5 minutes.

2. Drain off excess fat and put meat in a saucepan.

3. Add all other ingredients to saucepan and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

4. Cook spaghetti/pasta as directed on the packet.

5. Serve and enjoy!
