How much is TOO much?

You need to discover what the right size meals are for you, with the goal being that when you finish your meal you are feeling satisfied but not full or bloated.

If you eat too much it will give your body too much to digest in one go and therefore slow down your metabolism, meaning more food will end up being stored as fat and leave you feeling sluggish or sick. The good news is that because you are following the other principles and eating every 2-4 hours, you don’t need to worry about getting hungry again because it will soon be time for your next meal or snack.

A useful guide would be that each component of food should be the size of your fist on the plate. For example, if your meal was chicken and veg you would have a fist-sized piece of chicken and the same size portion of veg.
